Janchi (잔치), meaning "party" in Korean, encapsulates the essence of this record brand, reflecting both the musical genres and the cultural significance it stands for. The project is a personal endeavor, born from my passion for music and a desire to introduce 70s, 80s, and 90s Korean music to music lovers worldwide.

 

The branding draws inspiration from the colors of the Korean flag, reimagined in a funky and playful way to reflect the store’s vibrant, celebratory atmosphere. Janchi Record is a long-term project that combines my vision with the passion of fellow Korean DJs.
